Martin Guitars celebrate 175th anniversary

The C.F. Martin guitar company in Nazareth, PA is a small guitar manufacturer of acoustic guitars. Perhaps you've heard of them?
This year they celebrate their 175th year of building guitars. To say the company is still going strong might be understating it just a little bit. Martin has been known as the choice manufacturer of acoustic guitars practically since they incorporated back in the 1830s.
Attempting to list of the famous artists who play Martins would probably crash our web server, but I think it's pretty safe to say that a lot of our favorite players, including Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Dave Matthews and a few thousand more rely on Martin instruments.
This writer, for one played his first 'C' chord on my dad's Martin 00-18, and the guitar just gets better with age.
